In Memory

Andrew Schow

Our beloved and kind husband, father, and grandfather Andrew Elwin Schow Jr. 73, is now singing with Heavenly Choirs.  He returned home with honor on October 22, 2021.  He was born to Andrew Elwin and Nellie Mae Grant Schow on August 23, 1948 in Ogden, Utah.

Andy graduated from Davis High School and studied music at Weber State University where he earned a degree in Computer Science.  He served a mission in Ireland for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  Andy married his eternal companion Joanne Lundell on September 30, 1971 in the Salt Lake Temple.  Their marriage was blessed with two sons.

Andy loved music; the capstone of his musical endeavors was his musical mission in the Mormon Tabernacle Choir.  He sang,  performed and shared his testimony through music. He conducted and performed in many musical groups.  He loved serving as an ordinance worker in the Ogden Temple for many years.   Andy also enjoyed family history work and loved to find his ancestors.  He served at Hill Air Force Base for 30 years as a computer analyst.  The  gospel of Jesus Christ and his beloved family brought Andy the most joy in his life.

The family would like to thank the nursing staff in cardiac care at McKay Dee Hospital.

Andy is survived by his wife Joanne, sons Andrew (Michelle) Schow, Nate (Chantell) Schow; grandchildren Misha, Devin, Taryn, Kylee, Emeri and Lacie; brother Niel (DeAnn) Schow and sister-in-law Bonnie Schow. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Morgan Grant Schow.
